Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Qualifications

This position is responsible for the development of all online marketing initiatives, including but not limited to; product campaigns, ecommerce and web site plan and maintenance; expansion of client and partner portals; development of email design and schedules; initiating public relations and the development of profit generating opportunities, as well as monitor company networks. The candidate must be able to think strategically, and be willing and able to roll up his/her sleeves to help implement the new and existing marketing programs.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications

Job Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of marketing campaign strategy via digital mediums.  B2B experience with social media required. Responsible for designing campaigns across various digital mediums including; email, social media, ecommerce, website, marketing automation, CRM software and more.  Strategic thinking, product and consultative marketing, analytics and A/B testing skills are a must. Business development experience is a plus 

Technical Knowledge:

  • MS Office
    • Online email marketing programs such as Pardot
    • Customer relationship management (CRM) programs, such as Salesforce or equivalent programs
    • Marketing automation
    • Web development applications
    • Experience with WordPress, Drupal, HTML and PHP-based content management systems
    • Social media applications — LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
    • Graphics editing programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
    • Desktop publishing programs such as InDesign

Functions and Duties

  • Creates engagement studio campaigns aligned with marketing strategy and customer journey
  • Designs and implements marketing automation programs to effectively target key audiences
  • Measures the impact of digital media on the overall marketing efforts
  • Manages and updates website, ecommerce web sites and partner and customer sites
  • Develops  email campaigns from concept to finished email
  • Writes and edits copy for web, email and social
  • Coordinates projects with other departments and subject matter experts
  • Supports and collaborates with the Marketing Director on the overall marketing strategy
  • Actively uncovers new audiences and market share
  • Manage blog content, site, schedule and distribution
  • Creates and manages reports on email campaign success
  • Develops marketing automation campaigns within Pardot Automation Program  
  • Ability to pull reports and data for Pardot campaign use
  • Other duties as assigned
